Shades is a 3-channel utility module that provides attenuators, attenuverters, and mixers in a single unit. Each channel can independently scale, invert, or offset signals, with outputs that chain together for mixing multiple signals into composite CV or audio sources.

Controls & Jacks (15)

  • Channel 1 Level— Controls gain from 0 to 1 (attenuator) or -1 to +1 (attenuverter)
  • Channel 2 Level— Controls gain from 0 to 1 (attenuator) or -1 to +1 (attenuverter)
  • Channel 3 Level— Controls gain from 0 to 1 (attenuator) or -1 to +1 (attenuverter)
  • Channel 1 Mode— Switches channel 1 between attenuator (lower) and attenuverter (upper) modes
  • Channel 2 Mode— Switches channel 2 between attenuator (lower) and attenuverter (upper) modes
  • Channel 3 Mode— Switches channel 3 between attenuator (lower) and attenuverter (upper) modes
  • Channel 1 Input— Signal input for channel 1, defaults to +5V or +10V when unpatched
  • Channel 2 Input— Signal input for channel 2, defaults to +5V or +10V when unpatched
  • Channel 3 Input— Signal input for channel 3, defaults to +5V or +10V when unpatched
  • Channel 1 Output— Output for channel 1, routes to next channel when unpatched
  • Channel 2 Output— Output for channel 2, becomes sum of channels when previous output unpatched
  • Channel 3 Output— Output for channel 3, becomes sum of all channels when previous outputs unpatched
  • Channel 1— Indicates signal level; bipolar (positive/negative)
  • Channel 2— Indicates signal level; bipolar (positive/negative)
  • Channel 3— Indicates signal level; bipolar (positive/negative)
