Nano Industries FUM

Six stereo effects, direct control.

12 HP Eurorack module

FUM is a stereo Eurorack multi-effects processor combining delay, reverb, pitch shifting, chorus/flanger, generated texture, and resonant color filtering with internal Motion modulation and extensive CV control.

Features

  • Six stereo effects: delay, reverb, pitch shifting, chorus/flanger, generated texture, and color filtering.
  • Clock-synchronized delay with Short, Mid, and Long time ranges.
  • Clean delay feedback or distorted repeats that progressively degrade.
  • Natural Hall and rhythmic Gated reverb characters.
  • Internal triangle LFO or Sample & Hold Motion modulation animates several effects together.
  • Freeze holds the delay and reverb buffers indefinitely while other processing remains playable.
  • Granular low-frequency texture or white noise responds dynamically to the incoming performance.
  • Six dedicated CV inputs provide control of Mix, Pitch, Time, Feedback, Modulation, and Reverb, alongside an external clock input.
  • Panel-selectable filter-routing, Mix, and Texture-routing modes are retained through power-off.
  • RGB indicators communicate parameter state, with a red warning before audio clipping.

Controls & Jacks (28)

  • Texture— Adds a signal-responsive generated layer: granular low-frequency rumble to the left, none at center, or white noise to the right.
  • Motion— Controls the internal multi-destination modulator: turn left for increasingly fast and deep random Sample & Hold steps, center for no moveme
  • Color— Applies a resonant DJ-style filter: low-pass to the left, bypassed at center, or high-pass to the right.
  • Dry | Wet— Sets the balance between the original signal and the processed effects, from fully dry through an even blend to fully wet.
  • Range— Selects the overall delay-time bank: Long at the left, Mid at the center, or Short at the right; the Time slider selects a division within t
  • Mod CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating chorus/flanger depth.
  • Reverb CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating the reverb amount.
  • Feedback CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating delay feedback.
  • Pitch CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating the pitch-shift amount.
  • Pitch— Shifts the sound toward one octave down below center or one octave up above center, with increasing self-feedback toward the extremes; cente
  • Modulation— Controls stereo tempo-synchronized modulation: flanger below center, off at center, or chorus above center, with intensity increasing toward
  • Right Audio Input— Right-channel audio input for stereo sources; may be left unpatched when using a mono source.
  • Left Audio Output— Left-channel processed audio output.
  • Delay Feedback— Sets delay feedback and character: distorted, progressively degrading repeats below center, no repeats at center, or clean repeats above cen
  • Time CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating delay time.
  • Freeze— Press once to capture and indefinitely loop the current delay buffer while holding the reverb alongside it; press again to release the froze
  • Time— Steps through ten tempo-related delay-time divisions within the bank selected by Delay Range; changes glide smoothly for tape-like pitch mov
  • Right Audio Output— Right-channel processed audio output.
  • Left Audio Input— Left-channel audio input; use this input alone for a mono source.
  • Clock Input— External clock input that synchronizes the delay tempo; the internal tempo is used when it is unpatched.
  • Reverb— Sets reverb character and amount: gated ambience below center, no reverb at center, or an increasingly long natural hall above center.
  • Mix CV Input— Control-voltage input for modulating the dry/wet balance.
  • Texture Indicator— Shows Texture amount and character, using orange for granular texture and white for white noise.
  • Color Indicator— Shows filter amount and type, using blue for low-pass filtering and violet for high-pass filtering.
  • Delay Indicator— Pulses at the delay tempo; its color identifies the active delay range and its brightness follows feedback amount.
  • Reverb Modulation Indicator— Its brightness follows the more active of Reverb and Modulation; it pulses with gated reverb and uses green for flanger or pink for chorus.
  • Motion Indicator— Breathes at the internal modulation rhythm, using amber for Sample & Hold.
  • Pitch Indicator— Shows the active pitch shift and direction, using blue for downward shifting and violet for upward shifting.
