Nekyia Circuits Ceremony

Twin Peak Filter/Resonator

10 HP Eurorack module

Ceremony is a dual analog 18 dB resonant TwinPeak-style filter that works as a filter or self-oscillating resonator, with two crossfaded inputs, frequency FM, feedback, and a VCA-controlled output.

Features

  • Dual 18 dB resonant filter design.
  • Continuously morphs from low-pass to twin-peak band-pass response.
  • Voltage-controlled FM from Frequency B to Frequency A.
  • Independent feedback controls add harmonic content.
  • Two inputs with a voltage-controlled crossfader.
  • Main output includes VCA level control.

Controls & Jacks (22)

  • VCA Status— Indicates VCA status; it is lit when the unpatched VCA CV input supplies its internal fixed signal.
  • FM Modulation CV Input— Bipolar CV input for the FM amount from Frequency B to Frequency A (±5 V).
  • Feedback B— Feeds the crossfaded input signal back to modulate Frequency B.
  • Cutoff Frequency B— Sets the cutoff frequency or resonant pitch of filter B.
  • Feedback A— Feeds the crossfaded input signal back to modulate Frequency A.
  • Frequency B CV Input— Bipolar CV input for Frequency B (±5 V), scaled by the Frequency B CV attenuverter.
  • Cutoff Frequency A— Sets the cutoff frequency or resonant pitch of filter A.
  • Signal Input 1— First signal input for audio, triggers, gates, or envelopes.
  • Frequency A CV Attenuverter— Attenuverts the CV applied to Frequency A; maximum positive setting provides 1 V/oct scaling.
  • Resonance— Sets shared filter resonance; higher settings self-oscillate.
  • FM Amount— Sets the amount of frequency modulation from Frequency B to Frequency A.
  • Both Frequencies CV Input— 1 V/oct CV input that modulates both filter frequencies equally.
  • LP/BP Morph— Morphs from low-pass filtering to equal-level twin-peak band-pass filtering.
  • Output— Main filtered and resonated audio output.
  • VCA CV Input— 0–8 V CV input controlling the main output VCA level.
  • Signal Input 2— Second signal input for audio, triggers, gates, or envelopes.
  • Crossfader CV Input— Bipolar CV input for the crossfader position (±5 V).
  • Frequency A CV Input— Bipolar CV input for Frequency A (±5 V), scaled by the Frequency A CV attenuverter.
  • Resonance CV Input— Bipolar CV input for resonance (±5 V).
  • Frequency B CV Attenuverter— Attenuverts the CV applied to Frequency B; maximum positive setting provides 1 V/oct scaling.
  • Crossfader— Crossfades between Signal Inputs 1 and 2, with equal levels at centre.
  • Crossfader Position— Bipolar LED indicating crossfader position.
