Noise Engineering Cursus Iteritas Percido
Dangerous wavetable voice with one knob to rule them all
24 HP Eurorack module
Cursus Iteritas Percido is a 24HP Eurorack wavetable oscillator synth voice that builds timbres from orthogonal function sets (Fourier, Daubechies wavelets, Walsh transforms), with a built-in attack/decay envelope routed to all timbral parameters via individual attenuverters. The Master Blaster macro knob controls all envelope sends simultaneously, making it a powerhouse performance instrument capable of anything from massive kicks to lush organs.
Features
- Wavetable oscillator with three selectable orthogonal function sets: Fourier (sine), Daubechies (wavelets), Walsh (Walsh transforms)
- Built-in attack/decay envelope with Time, AT/DC, and Shape controls
- Individual envelope send attenuverters for each timbral parameter (Center, Width, Balance, Edge, Fold) and Pitch
- Master Blaster macro knob scales all envelope sends simultaneously for live performance
- MB Out CV output mirrors Master Blaster position for controlling external modules
- Env Out CV output sends internal envelope to external modules
- Sync input for edge-based oscillator reset
- Trig input resets envelope in any mode on rising edge
- Hit button for manual triggering without external CV
- Variable sample rate tied to oscillator fundamental to make aliasing harmonic
- Fold wavefolder for additional harmonic complexity
- Edge control interpolates from point sampling to cubic-spline (NURBS) oversampling
Controls & Jacks (49)
- Balance — Allows selection of harmonics included in the output.
- Center Envelope Send — Envelope send control for Center. Routes the internal attack/decay envelope to Center parameter. 12:00 = off, CCW = negative, CW = positive.
- Pitch — Sets the pitch. Turn to adjust fine tuning, press and turn to adjust coarse tuning. Encoder sums with the pitch CV input.
- Edge — Controls the oversampling filter of the wavetable. As this is turned to the right, it will add musical overtones.
- Width — Controls how many different harmonics are used to create the wavetable.
- Algo — Selects which orthogonal function set is used to produce the wavetable: Daubechies (wavelets), Fourier (sine waves), or Walsh (Walsh Transfo
- Fold — Wavefolder control that adds harmonic content and distortion.

- Balance CV — CV input for Balance control. Responds to 0V to 5V.
- Edge CV — CV input for Edge control. Responds to 0V to 5V.
- Mode — Sets the behavior of the envelope: Trigger mode (expects trigger input), Loop mode (envelope regenerates), or Free-running mode (original Cu
- Master Blaster — Performance-oriented master attenuverter for all envelope sends. 12:00 = all sends off, CW = full amount, CCW = inverted amount.
- Center CV — CV input for Center harmonic selection. Responds to 0V to 5V.
- Sync — Triggers edge-based oscillator reset. Responds to a rising edge around 2V.
- Master Blaster CV — CV input for Master Blaster attenuverter.
- Fold Envelope Send — Routes the internal attack/decay envelope to the Fold parameter. At 12:00, envelope is off. CW adds positive envelope, CCW adds inverted env
- Pitch CV — CV input for pitch control. Responds to 0V to 8V.
- Fold Envelope Send CV — CV input for Fold envelope send amount.
- Width Envelope Send CV — CV input for Width envelope send amount.
