Fala Versio is a stereo formant filter designed for pure musicality. It offers 1, 2, or 3 selectable resonant bandpass filters tuned to musical note ranges, with a built-in clockable stereo LFO for panning animation. A pre-filter wavefolder adds harmonics to simple signals, while a post-filter saturator drives the output into screaming territory. With up to 24 bandpass filters and 12 saturators active simultaneously (in IV/AE3 mode), Fala can produce everything from resonant vocal tones to uniquely modulated filth. Part of the Versio DSP platform with swappable firmware via USB.

- Formant frequencies tuned to musical note ranges: A2-A5 (110-880 Hz) and E4-E7 (330-2637 Hz)
- Third formant frequency derived from first two formant positions
- Parallel filter sets: 1, 2, or 4 copies for chorus-like thickening
- Up to 24 bandpass filters and 12 saturators active simultaneously
- Pre-filter wavefolder for adding harmonics to simple inputs
- Post-filter saturator for aggressive drive
- Built-in clockable stereo LFO with sine and random modes
- Tap tempo with hold-to-clear for LFO rate

- LFO modulation with independent phase (sine) or independent random per parallel set
- Noise gate on input to keep noise floor low through distortion stages

- Fold — Pre-filter wavefolding amount
- A2-A5 — First formant filter frequency from A2 (110 Hz) to A5 (880 Hz)
- Q — Resonance amount for all three filters
- Speed — Internal LFO rate; acts as clock divider/multiplier with external clock
- Index — Stereo LFO modulation depth; sinusoidal right of noon, random left
- E4-E7 — Second formant filter frequency from E4 (330 Hz) to E7 (2637 Hz)
- Sat — Post-filter saturation amount
- A/AE/AE3 — Number of active formants: A only, A+E, or A+E+3rd
- I/II/IV — Number of parallel filter sets: 1, 2, or 4 for chorus-like effect
- Tap — Tap tempo for LFO; hold to clear tapped tempo
- In LED — Input signal indicator
- Status LED 1 — Status indicator
- Status LED 2 — Status indicator
- Out LED — Output signal indicator
- Fold CV In — CV input for Fold; 0-5V
- Q CV In — CV input for Q; 0-5V
- A CV In — CV input for A2-A5 filter; 0-5V
- Sat CV In — CV input for Sat; 0-5V
