Noise Engineering Lapsus Os
Four-channel fader-based attenuverter and offset controller
8 HP Eurorack module
Lapsus Os is a four-channel attenuator/attenuverter and offset module with faders, designed for live performance. Each channel can attenuate or invert incoming signals, add offsets, or generate standalone CV voltages from 0-5v or plus/minus 5v. With its reversible mounting, dual inputs per channel, and LED faders, it serves as an expressive and centralized control surface for modular systems.
Features
- Four independent attenuator/attenuverter channels with faders
- Per-channel Uni/Bi switch for attenuator or attenuverter mode
- Dual inputs per channel: offset input (+) and attenuating/attenuverting input (x)
- Dual identical outputs per channel
- LED faders showing CV level passing through
- Standalone offset generation when no input is patched (0-5v unipolar or plus/minus 5v bipolar)
- Rear-board switches per channel for inverted fader behavior
- Reversible mounting support
- Input range plus/minus 10v
- Output range 0-10v unipolar or plus/minus 10v bipolar with input; 0-5v or plus/minus 5v without input
- 8HP Eurorack format

- Channel 1 Attenuating/Attenuverting Input — Accepts CV signal to be attenuated or attenuverred by Channel 1 fader and switch.
- Channel 2 Attenuating/Attenuverting Input — Accepts CV signal to add offset controlled by Channel 1 fader and switch.
- Channel 3 Attenuating/Attenuverting Input — Left position: unipolar mode attenuates input. Right position: bipolar mode with upper half attenuating and lower half inverting.
- Channel 4 Attenuating/Attenuverting Input — Accepts CV signal to be attenuated or attenuverred by Channel 2 fader and switch.
- Channel 1 Offset Input — Accepts CV signal to add offset controlled by Channel 2 fader and switch.
