Noise Engineering Quantus Ampla
Quad linear DC-coupled VCA with mixing and circular normalling
6 HP Eurorack module
Quantus Ampla is a four-channel linear DC-coupled VCA with built-in mixing. Each channel has an Amplify/Attenuate mode switch, signal input, CV input, and output. CV inputs are circularly normalled (CV 1→2→3→4→1) so one CV source controls all four VCAs. Outputs mix progressively: Out 4 contains the sum of all four channels, enabling use as a quad VCA, stereo pair, or four-into-one mixer. DC coupling means it handles both audio and CV signals.
Features
- Four-channel linear DC-coupled VCA
- Amplify/Attenuate mode per channel
- Circular CV normalling (one CV controls all)
- 0-5V CV range (clamped)
- Progressive output mixing (Out 4 = sum of all)
- Individual outputs break from mix bus
- Handles audio and CV (DC-coupled)
- ~20Vpp signal handling
- Only 6HP, 21mm deep
- 65mA +12V, 60mA -12V
