Noise Engineering Toros Iteritas Alia
Three-operator phase-modulation drone oscillator
10 HP Eurorack module
Toros Iteritas Alia is a three-operator, three-algorithm phase-modulation oscillator from Noise Engineering, designed with drones in mind. It uses variable sample rate synthesis and a unique Blendex control that crossfades each oscillator between output mix and phase modulation of the next operator in the chain. Three routing algorithms (Chill, Buzz, Chaos) produce vastly different timbres from the same controls. The Freq knobs have a variable-range curve controlled by the Range switch, allowing both subtle micro-detuning for slowly evolving textures and wide intervals for tonal FM sounds.
