Tymp Legio is a compact 6HP synthetic drum voice built on the Legio platform, offering a wide tonal range across kick, snare, hat, bell, and metallic sounds via three modes. It features a stereo audio pass-through with sidechain ducking so percussion can punch through a mix in real time. As a platform module, its firmware can be freely swapped to alternate functions via the Noise Engineering customer portal.

- Tang toggle selects timbral variation within each mode
- Pitch control with fine (turn) and coarse (press and turn) adjustment
- CV inputs for Pitch, Decay, and Wackitude modulation
- Pitch CV range -2V to +5V for wide melodic use
- Stereo Quack audio pass-through inputs with sidechain ducking in Boot and Cat modes
- Quack L normalled to R input when R is unpatched
- Duck time follows Decay parameter
- Boing mode passes Quack audio without ducking
- Autocalibration system on startup with nothing patched to Pitch CV
- Factory calibrated and tested
Controls & Jacks (20)
- Pitch — Sets the pitch of the voice. Turn for fine adjustments, press and turn for coarse adjustment. Range: -2V to +5V CV input.
- Decay — Changes the decay time of the synth voice. Also adjusts duck time for the Quack audio when in Boot or Cat mode.
- Wackitude — Changes the timbre of the synth voice, offering tonal and textural variation.
- Hit — Trigger input. Triggers the voice and ducking envelope.
- Out L — Left channel audio output.
- Wackitude CV — CV input for wackitude modulation.
- Pitch CV — CV input for pitch modulation.
- Quack R — Right channel audio input for ducking.
- Decay CV — CV input for decay time modulation.
- Quack L — Left channel audio input for ducking.
- Mode LED 1 — Status LED indicating firmware (Blue on boot for Tymp Legio firmware).
- Out R — Right channel audio output.
- Mode LED 2 — Status LED indicating firmware (Green on boot for Tymp Legio firmware).
- Mode — Selects the type of sound. Boot: Kicks, subs, lasers, thwompy things. Cat: Snares, toms, noisy bits. Boing: Hats, bells, and metallic wackin
- Tang — Selects a variation of the main sound type within the selected Mode.
