Noise Reap Paradox
Dual analog VCO with FM, sync, and self-mod
8 HP Eurorack module
Paradox is a dual triangle-core analog VCO with a subsonic to supersonic frequency range, offering cross-modulation, self-modulation, sync, and FM capabilities. The two oscillators can operate independently or be linked for complex timbral results ranging from lush detuned pads to chaotic noise textures. Its musical character spans from warm, mellow triangle tones to harmonically rich FM-driven sounds and aggressive sync effects.
Features
- Two triangle-core VCOs with subsonic to supersonic frequency range
- OSC A outputs: simultaneous triangle and sawtooth
- OSC B outputs: simultaneous triangle and square wave
- MIX output combining OSC A sawtooth and OSC B square equally
- SELF MOD control feeding OSC A triangle back into its own core for waveform shaping
- Internal linear FM from OSC A triangle to OSC B with FM AMT attenuator
- External linear FM input (exFM) for OSC A, AC coupled for audio-rate modulation
- SYNC A to B soft sync switch
- Individual 1V/oct inputs per oscillator plus shared 1V LINKED input
- All inputs bipolar +/-10V range
- Waveform outputs approximately 10Vpp
- Input impedances approximately 100K, output impedances approximately 1K
