OK Instruments SPILL
Six-effect stereo powerhouse with generative modulation and sequencing
20 HP Eurorack module
SPILL is a stereo multi-effect Eurorack module built on the Daisy Seed platform, offering six buffer-based effects including stutter, granular, slicer, filter, delay, and reverb. It features an internal mod matrix, LFO, ADSR, envelope follower, CV recorder, randomizer, per-effect sequencer, logic gates, and channel assignment, making it a dense performance and generative effects hub. Its musical character ranges from subtle coloration to chaotic texture generation, capable of functioning as two independent mono effect chains.
Features
- 6 buffer-based effects: Stutter, Grains, Slicer, Filter, Delay, Reverb
- Stereo processing with per-effect channel assignment (Left, Right, Stereo)
- Can operate as 2 independent mono effect chains
- Built on Daisy Seed microcontroller platform
- 3 modulation buses per effect
- Modulation sources: CV 1-4, Envelope Follower, Sine LFO, ADSR, CV Recorder, Random
- Per-effect randomizer with adjustable threshold and parameter exclusions
- Logic section with OR, XOR, AND, NAND, NOT, 2nd, 3rd, 4th trigger logic per effect
- Per-effect sequencer with clock divider, direction control, and record/randomize
- Internal ADSR envelope with selectable trigger source
- Envelope follower converts audio to modulation curve
- CV Recorder records up to ~40 seconds of CV or audio as looping modulation
