Ornament & Crime is an open-source multi-function module based on a Teensy microcontroller. It runs multiple "apps" selectable at runtime, including quantizers (CopierMaschine, Quantermain), Turing Machine emulations, step sequencers (Sequins), envelope generators (Piqued), Lorenz attractors, and more. Each app repurposes the 4 CV outputs, 4 CV inputs, 2 digital inputs, and 2 encoders differently, making it one of the most versatile modules in Eurorack.

- Input 1 — CV or audio input for channel 1, remappable per app
- Input 2 — CV or audio input for channel 2, remappable per app
- Right — Primary navigation and parameter control; hold at startup for calibration mode
- Clock/Trigger Input 2 — Gate, trigger, or clock input for channel 2
- Clock/Trigger Input 1 — Gate, trigger, or clock input for channel 1
- Clock/Trigger Input 3 — Gate, trigger, or clock input for channel 3
- Input 3 — CV or audio input for channel 3, remappable per app
- Input 4 — CV or audio input for channel 4, remappable per app
- Output 1 — CV or audio output for channel 1
- Output 2 — CV or audio output for channel 2
- Output 3 — CV or audio output for channel 3
- Left — Secondary parameter control and app selection; long press (2s+) to enter app menu
- Clock/Trigger Input 4 — Gate, trigger, or clock input for channel 4

- Down — Navigate menu items in application mode
- OLED Display — Polymorphic visual interface for menu navigation and parameter editing
