8 sliders, 8 scales, 8 directions — performance step sequencer in 10 HP
10 HP Eurorack module
The Lifeforms Micro Sequence is Pittsburgh Modular's hands-on, no-screen step sequencer. Eight 30 mm sliders set the per-step output voltage and double as channel mutes when pulled to the bottom. Six dedicated function buttons (Clock, Run, Reset, Direction, Length, Scale) plus a Gate In Mode button give immediate access to every parameter without menu diving. Two independent outputs travel in parallel: a quantized Pitch Out (one of eight scales, four-octave range) and a free analog CV Out (0–5 V) that ignores the mute. A separate Gate Out fires on every active step, while the Clock I/O can act as internal tap-tempo source or external clock divider. The Gate In jack is reassignable to one of four modulation behaviours (Reset, Hold, Reverse, Ratchet), making the Micro Sequence a remarkable amount of sequencer in 10 HP.
