Acid Rain Technology Ripsaw
Stereo super oscillator re-imagined
6 HP Eurorack module
Ripsaw is a compact stereo super oscillator that packs 4 voices of 7 waveforms each into 6hp. Inspired by the classic supersaw sound, it brings polyphony and massive detuned tones to eurorack with individual pitch control per voice. The waveforms morph from sawtooth to square, and a unique hard sync shift parameter adds timbral range beyond what traditional supersaw designs offer. Built on the HEX hardware platform, Ripsaw runs as firmware with future alternative firmwares planned.
Features
- 4 voices of 7 morphing saw-to-square waveforms (28 oscillators total, 56 counting hard sync)
- Individual 1V/oct pitch control per voice with automatic voice activation on patch
- Stereo output with per-waveform stereo spread
- Hard sync shift control across all 28 waveforms for unique timbral shaping
- Onboard semitone-quantized pitch encoder with fine tune in cents
- LED display showing current root note
- Soft clipping and voice count volume compensation on outputs
- Built on HEX platform with future free firmware updates
- Reverse polarity power protection
- Only 6hp and 25mm deep
