Trident is Dave Rossum’s 100% analog "Multi-Synchronic Oscillator Ensemble": three precision VCOs that come alive when combined. A Carrier Oscillator outputs simultaneous triangle, sawtooth and pulse waves, while two Modulation Oscillators apply "Zing" modulation — mathematically akin to ring modulation, but when the oscillators are hard-synced the aharmonic sidetones transform into complex yet purely harmonic overtone spectra that evolve dramatically with each mod-oscillator parameter (frequency, symmetry, waveshape, Zing amount, and Mod 2’s phase). Each oscillator can also stand alone, and the mod oscillators can independently sync to and track the Carrier.

- Mod 2 adds CV-controllable Phase relative to the Carrier
