Shakmat Modular Banshee Reach
Thru-zero varishape VCO with sub, FM/PM, and Disorder noise mode
8 HP Eurorack module
Banshee Reach is an 8HP analog triangle-core VCO with thru-zero frequency and phase modulation. Its Vari output continuously morphs from sine to triangle to saw to square, crossfaded with a switchable sub-octave generator. A digital Octaver mode locks the Coarse knob into discrete octave steps while keeping the full analog signal path for V/OCT and FM/PM. Disorder mode injects fast random signals into the analog core, turning the oscillator into a noise source with timbre shaped by the Shape and Sub controls. The module also functions as an LFO reaching down to 90-second periods.
Features
- Full analog triangle core VCO
- Thru-zero linear FM input

- Sub mix CV input
- Independent Sine, Saw, Pulse, and Vari outputs simultaneously
- Octaver mode: Coarse knob snaps to discrete octave steps
- Disorder mode: fast random signals modulate the analog core for noise synthesis
- LFO mode: 90 seconds to 11 Hz (extends to 1100 sec with CV)
- Hard sync and soft sync modes via Sync input
- PWM input for Pulse Out (1 to 99% width range)
