Shakmat Modular Dual Dagger
Dual stereo analog filter with bandpass link and stereo pan
6 HP Eurorack module
The Dual Dagger is a dual stereo analog filter containing two low-pass and two high-pass filters, each with a -24dB/octave slope, designed to process stereo signals with independent cutoff control over each filter type. It features a Link mode that combines the four filters into an 8th order stereo bandpass filter, and a pan function that offsets cutoff frequencies between left and right channels for rich stereo filter effects. Its musical character ranges from classic stereo filtering to complex bandpass sculpting, resonant self-oscillating VCO behavior, and dynamic stereo imaging.
Features
- Four analog filters: two -24dB/oct low-pass and two -24dB/oct high-pass
- Link switch combines all four filters into an 8th order stereo bandpass filter
- Independent LPF and HPF cutoff frequency potentiometers and CV inputs
- Shared resonance potentiometer and CV input assignable to LPF, HPF, or both via switches
- Pan CV inputs offset cutoff frequency between channel 1 and channel 2 for stereo filter spreading
- Separate PANLP and PANHP CV inputs for independent pan control of each filter type
- Back-panel jumper sets resonance range: Lo (no self-oscillation) or Hi (self-oscillation enabled)
- Carefully calibrated to share exact same parameters on both audio channels
- IN2 normalled to IN1 for mono-to-stereo operation
- Stereo audio inputs and outputs (IN1/IN2, OUT1/OUT2)
- 6HP compact form factor
- Standard 2x5 pin Eurorack power connector
