Steady State Fate Steady State Gate
Analog LPG with wave folder, saturation, and QAOS
8 HP Eurorack module
Steady State Gate is an analog low-pass gate, VCF, and VCA in 8HP with a unique Timbre section offering wave folding, saturation, and the proprietary QAOS resonance modifier. Three filter response modes (bandpass, 1-pole LP, 2-pole LP) provide different ringing characters from bright to dark. The level-sensitive Excite input responds to gate amplitude (not just on/off), enabling dynamic plucking with varying intensity. Self-oscillation at high Q-Factor settings turns it into a kick drum synthesizer. Extensive self-patching via the Env Out enables Buchla 292-like response curves.
