Steady State Fate Steady State Gate Stereo Field
Stereo low-pass gate with timbre and field control.
10 HP Eurorack module
Stereo low-pass gate combining dynamic filtering, timbre shaping, and stereo-field control for stereo or mono sources.
Features
- EXCITE and CV/GATE can be used together for dynamic, rhythmic low-pass-gate control.
- QAOS can be used in every TIMBRE mode or disabled with QAOS Enable.
- FIELD provides stereo-image control for stereo material and tone shaping for mono material.
Controls & Jacks (21)
- IN-L— Left audio input for stereo operation or mono processing.
- TIMBRE CV— CV input for the selected timbre effect amount.
- CV/GATE— Accepts a gate or control voltage, such as an envelope or LFO, to open the low-pass gate for its full duration.
- EXCITE— Accepts a trigger or gate and converts it into a short pluck to excite the low-pass gate.
- DECAY CV— CV input for decay time.
- Q-FACTOR— Controls filter resonance; past the sine-wave marking it produces ringing that may sustain with an input signal.
- OUT-L— Left audio output.
- FIELD CV— CV input for stereo-field position and mono tone shaping.
- FREQ CV— CV input for filter frequency or maximum LPG opening frequency.
- OUT-R— Right audio output.
- Q-FCTR CV— CV input for resonance.
- IN-R— Right audio input for stereo operation or mono processing.
- TIMBRE— Sets the amount of the selected FOLD, SAT, or QAOS timbre processing.
- ENV OUT— Outputs the envelope generated by the gate-control section.
- FIELD— Controls the stereo-field position and width for stereo signals, or acts as a tone control for mono signals.
- FREQ— Sets the base cutoff frequency in VCF operation or the maximum opening frequency when the LPG is controlled by EXCITE or CV/GATE.
- DECAY— Sets the decay time of the filter and amplifier response when EXCITE and/or CV/GATE is patched; moving upward increases decay time.
- FIELD Type— Selects the NEAR or FAR stereo-field behavior and corresponding mono tone-shaping response.
- QAOS Enable— Enables or disables the QAOS chaotic response applied to Q-FACTOR in any timbre mode.
- TIMBRE Mode— Selects the timbre processor: FOLD wavefolder, SAT soft saturator, or QAOS chaotic resonance response.
- FILTER Type— Selects the filter response: BP two-pole band-pass, 1PLP single-pole low-pass, or 2PLP two-pole low-pass.
