This Machine Modular Quântica
4-channel quantizer and chord sequencing module
12 HP Eurorack module
A four-channel Eurorack quantizer and chord sequencer with touchscreen harmonic tools, per-channel arpeggiation, and configurable channel behavior.
Features
- Four-channel quantization and chord sequencing.
- Per-channel post-quantization arpeggiation.
- Chord suggestions based on the selected key and recent chord choices.
- Settings and data persist automatically; storage updates every 10 seconds without interrupting operation.
Controls & Jacks (24)
- Channel 1 CV Output— Outputs Channel 1's quantized 1V/octave CV.
- Channel 1 Gate Input— Controls when Channel 1 updates its quantized output in Gate, Trigger, or Auto mode.
- Clock Input— Receives rising-edge clock pulses to advance the chord sequencer during playback according to its clock-divider setting.
- Channel 1 CV Input— Accepts analogue CV to quantize; when unpatched, Channel 1 outputs the chord root.
- Channel 3 CV Output— Outputs Channel 3's quantized 1V/octave CV.
- Channel 4 Gate Input— Controls when Channel 4 updates its quantized output in Gate, Trigger, or Auto mode.
- Channel 2 CV Input— Accepts analogue CV to quantize; when unpatched, its normal mode derives a note from Channel 1.
- Channel 2 Gate Input— Controls when Channel 2 updates its quantized output in Gate, Trigger, or Auto mode.
- Reset Input— Receives a pulse to reset the sequencer, readying it to begin on the next clock signal.
- Rotary— Rotates to navigate and select UI options; pushing activates the selected option or selected next chord.
- Channel 4 CV Input— Accepts analogue CV to quantize; when unpatched, its normal mode derives a note from Channel 3.
- Channel 4 CV Output— Outputs Channel 4's quantized 1V/octave CV.
- Arp— Opens the arpeggiator overlay and cycles its selected channel; it also returns to the Progression page from many pages.
- Channel 3 Gate Input— Controls when Channel 3 updates its quantized output in Gate, Trigger, or Auto mode.
- Channel 3 CV Input— Accepts analogue CV to quantize; when unpatched, its normal mode derives a note from Channel 2.
- Channel 2 CV Output— Outputs Channel 2's quantized 1V/octave CV.
- Play— Starts or stops chord-sequencer playback; the button glows yellow while the sequencer is active.
- Channel 3 Range— Selects Channel 3's input range between -5V to +5V and 0V to +5V; it has no effect when the CV input is unpatched.
- Channel 2 Range— Selects Channel 2's input range between -5V to +5V and 0V to +5V; it has no effect when the CV input is unpatched.
- Channel 1 Range— Selects Channel 1's input range between -5V to +5V and 0V to +5V; it has no effect when the CV input is unpatched.
- Shift— Enables secondary functions on the illuminated buttons and rotary encoder while held.
- Record— Starts or stops recording chords into the chord sequencer.
- Channel 4 Range— Selects Channel 4's input range between -5V to +5V and 0V to +5V; it has no effect when the CV input is unpatched.
- Touchscreen— Provides touch gestures for navigation, selection, page controls, and direct interaction with the chord and sequencer interface.
