The BD808 is a one-to-one analog clone of the Roland TR-808 bass drum circuit adapted for Eurorack modular synthesizer use. It offers independent Level, Tone, Decay, and Accent controls with an enhanced output gain stage capable of outputting up to 20Vpp for overdrive and distortion effects. Its organic, resonating sine-wave character ranges from deep sub bass to gritty techno kicks.

- GATE IN normalized to ACCENT IN when accent input is unpatched
- Extended decay time pushed to maximum before self-oscillation
- TONE low-pass filter knob for shaping attack character from dark/smooth to bright/tight
- Can overdrive external gear including audio interfaces, mixers, guitar pedals, and mic preamps
- Eurorack +/-12V power adapted from original +/-15V design
- ACCENT knob acts as fine output gain trim when ACCENT IN is unpatched
