Tiptop Audio CP909
Analog TR-909 clap clone with noise-trashing character
4 HP Eurorack module
The CP909 is a one-to-one analog clone of the Roland TR-909 clap sound generator adapted for Eurorack modular use. It faithfully recreates the iconic 909 clap through a quasi-random logic-based noise generator, with independent accent control and the added TRASH knob for clock-mangling the noise source into degraded, trashy textures beyond the original machine. It delivers everything from crisp classic house claps to heavily distorted percussive noise bursts.
