Tiptop Audio Forbidden Planet
Resonant multi-mode filter from smooth to chaotic
8 HP Eurorack module
The Tiptop Audio Forbidden Planet is a voltage controlled resonant multi-mode filter offering High Pass, Band Pass, and Low Pass filtering simultaneously. It ranges from smooth and crisp filtering to aggressive chaos, with resonance capable of self-oscillation and saturation at extreme settings.
Features
- Three simultaneous filter modes
- Self-oscillating resonance
- Dual CV inputs with attenuator
- Independent inputs for each filter mode
- Master volume control
- Circuit saturation at extreme settings
Controls & Jacks (9)
- FREQUENCY — Controls the cutoff frequency of the filter in selected mode
- ATTEN — Attenuator for CV input amount
- VOLUME — Master output volume control
- RESO — Emphasizes harmonics around the cutoff frequency, can induce self-oscillation
- OUT — Filtered audio output
- HP IN — Audio input routed to the high-pass filter
- LP IN — Audio input routed to the low-pass filter
- BP IN — Audio input routed to the band-pass filter
- CV IN — Voltage control input for filter frequency
