The HATS909 is a Eurorack hi-hat synthesizer module that faithfully recreates the iconic Roland TR-909 hi-hat circuit using six mixed square wave oscillators fed through a bandpass filter and VCA. It offers independent decay controls for open and closed hi-hats, voltage-controlled tuning, and a switchable FM/AM CV input for dynamic timbral modulation. The module delivers the punchy, metallic character of classic drum machine hi-hats with added modular flexibility.

- LEVEL — Controls the overall output volume level
- OH GATE — Gate input to trigger the open hi-hat sound
- FM/AM — CV input for frequency or amplitude modulation (selected by FM/AM switch)
- ACCENT IN — Accent CV input for dynamic emphasis
- OH DECAY — Controls the decay time of the open hi-hat sound
- CV IN — Attenuator knob for the FM/AM CV input jack
- TUNE — Adjusts the pitch/tuning of the hi-hat sound
- ACCENT — Controls the accent sensitivity/amount
- FM/AM — Selects between frequency modulation (FM) and amplitude modulation (AM) for the CV input
- VC-TUNE — CV input for voltage-controlled tuning
