Tiptop Audio QuantiZer
Precision CV-to-musical-note converter with live performance controls
10 HP Eurorack module
The QuantiZer is a digital processor with high precision analog CV circuitry that converts incoming CV signals from sequencers, LFOs, envelopes, or any CV source into quantized western chromatic scale notes in under half a millisecond. It offers deep musical control including scale selection and editing, transposition, portamento, CV recording, and SyncBus integration, making it a creative performance tool for shaping and transforming melodies in real time.
Features
- Precision ADC with three user-selectable input ranges: 0-5V, 0-10V, +/-5V
- Precision DAC with low offset and drift, 0-5V output range
- Quantized voltage accuracy +/- less than 1mV from 0 to 5V
- Free Run or Triggered Quantization modes
- Clock In with three formats: 16th (4PPQ), DIN Sync, DAW (24PPQ), and SyncBus (96PPQ)
- Reset In for external counter reset
- CV Sketch Pad: record up to 512 16th-note steps using Keyboard and Slider
- SyncBus connector for microsecond-accurate sync with Circadian Rhythm and Trigger Riot
- Scale CV input for CV control of scale selection or transpose amount
- 12-note keyboard with four modes: Keys, Scale Edit, Transpose, Input Range
- 40mm slider with five modes: Notes, Portamento, Transpose, Octave, Input Range
- Major and Minor scale buttons for instant scale switching
