Authentic TR-909 rimshot analog percussion for Eurorack

The RS909 is a one-to-one analog clone of the Roland TR-909 rimshot sound generator adapted for Eurorack modular use. It faithfully reproduces the classic 909 rimshot timbre while adding independent oscillator frequency control and per-module accent control absent from the original machine. The result is a punchy, cracking percussion voice with the authentic snap and attack character of vintage drum machine hardware.

- One-to-one analog clone of Roland TR-909 rimshot circuit
- Three internal oscillators with two user-accessible frequency controls (OSC-1, OSC-2)
- Independent per-module accent level control knob
- ACCENT IN normalized to GATE IN when unpatched, enabling maximum output level by default
- ACCENT knob acts as fine output gain trim when no external accent signal is connected
- ACCENT IN accepts gate, trigger, or CV signal for dynamic accent variations
- LEVEL knob for coarse output volume adjustment
- MixBus jumper for direct connection to Tiptop MIXZ mixer module
- Eurorack +/-12V power compatible, adapted from original +/-15V TR-909 design
- SMT manufacturing with period-correct sound character
Controls & Jacks (7)
- Level — Controls the overall output level of the rimshot sound.
- OSC 1 — Tunes the frequency of the first bridged-T oscillator, affecting the pitch character of the rimshot.
- OSC-2 — Tunes the frequency of the second bridged-T oscillator, interacting with OSC1 to create the metallic rimshot timbre.
- Accent — Sets the accent intensity, boosting the rimshot output level and brightness when triggered via Accent In.
- Accent In — Trigger input for accented hits. When triggered, increases output level and brightness according to the Accent knob setting.
- Gate In — Gate/trigger input for firing the rimshot. Accepts standard Eurorack gate or trigger signals.
- RS Out — Audio output for the rimshot sound.
