Tiptop Audio Z5000
24 studio-quality multi-effects in minimal Eurorack space
8 HP Eurorack module
The Z5000 is an 8HP multi-effects Eurorack module offering 24 carefully curated effects across three banks: reverbs, delays, and pitch/modulation effects. It features an internal analog VCO clocking the DSP chip for an organic sound quality, with CV control over key parameters and stereo output for rich spatial processing.
Features
- 24 effects across 3 banks of 8 programs each: reverbs, delays, pitch/modulation
- Internal analog VCO clocking DSP chip for organic sound and Fidelity manipulation
- 3 CV inputs: Feedback/Mod CV, Time/Fidelity CV (toggle-switched), Filter CV
- Fidelity knob alters VCO clock speed for pitch shifting to digital noise degradation
- Stereo outputs (Left/Mono + Right)
- 3 illuminated bank buttons with LED pattern program identification
- Exponential IN level knob spanning Line Level to Eurorack levels without jumpers
- Clipping light indicator monitoring DSP input and output levels
- Two display modes: Default (binary LED program number) and Minimal
- Last used program per bank saved in memory across power cycles
- 8HP compact form factor
- CV slew circuit on DSP parameter inputs; Fidelity CV is full analog speed including audio rate
Controls & Jacks (24)
- Mix — Controls the wet/dry mix of the effect output.
- In Level — Exponential input gain control. 0-50% provides fine control for line-level inputs; 50-100% provides Eurorack level control.
- Feedback/Mod — Changes the amount of feedback in delay programs or the depth/rate of LFOs in reverb or modulation programs.
- Fidelity — Controls the DSP clock speed. Alters the frequency of the analog VCO that clocks the DSP chip, enabling pitch shifting, degraded digital eff
- Time — Controls decay time of reverbs, delay time, or rate of modulation LFOs depending on selected effect.
- Filter — Sets the cutoff frequency of low/high or bandpass filters in the program.
- Audio In — Mono audio input to the effects processor.
- Time CV — Accepts 0-5V CV to modulate the Time parameter or Fidelity (selectable).
- Left Output — Left channel audio output (mono compatible).
- Filter CV — Accepts 0-5V CV to modulate the Filter parameter.
- Feedback/Mod CV — Accepts 0-5V CV to modulate the Feedback/Mod parameter.
- Right Output — Right channel audio output for stereo effects.
- Time/Fidelity Mode — Toggles Time CV input between controlling Time DSP parameter or Fidelity clock control.
- Clipping Indicator — Red indicator light that flashes when input or output signal levels exceed maximum before clipping, indicating reduced feedback or input gai
- FIDELITY — Controls the DSP clock speed. Alters the frequency of the analog VCO that clocks the DSP chip, enabling pitch shifting, degraded digital eff
- P/MOD
- FILTER — Sets the cutoff frequency of low/high or bandpass filters in the program.
- FB/MOD
- REVERBS — Hold to load Bank 1 (70s reverbs and effects). Illuminated button displays LED pattern indicating current program number in binary.
- DELAYS — Hold to load Bank 2 (80s reverbs and effects). Illuminated button displays LED pattern indicating current program number in binary.
- PITCH MOD — Hold to load Bank 3 (90s reverbs and effects). Illuminated button displays LED pattern indicating current program number in binary.
- FBACK/MOD — Changes the amount of feedback in delay programs or the depth/rate of LFOs in reverb or modulation programs.
- IN — Exponential input gain control. 0-50% provides fine control for line-level inputs; 50-100% provides Eurorack level control.
- TIME/FIDELITY — Toggles Time CV input between controlling Time DSP parameter or Fidelity clock control.
