Vostok Instruments Trace
4-input morphing scanner — interpolates between four sources into one output.
4 HP Eurorack module
Trace is a four-channel analog Morphing Scanner built jointly by Vostok Instruments and DivKid — the conceptual mirror of its sister module Path. Where Path takes one input and routes it across four outputs, Trace takes four inputs and morphs them into a single output. The Scan fader picks which input is currently at the output, with smooth interpolation between adjacent inputs at intermediate positions — no clicking, no hard transitions. CV input plus attenuator and polarity switch round out the controls. Compact 4HP and DC-coupled throughout, so Trace works equally well as an audio crossfader, a CV morpher, or a wavetable-style sound selector.
