Vult Vorg
8 HP Eurorack module
Fully analog low-pass/high-pass filter based on a modernized operational-transconductance-amplifier version of the MS-20 filter.
Features
- Self-oscillates at higher resonance settings and can act as a sound generator.
- Input drive saturation adds harmonics.
- Two instances can recreate the MS-20's separate high-pass and low-pass filter arrangement.
Controls & Jacks (12)
- Low Pass Indicator— Lights to indicate that low-pass mode is active.
- Out— Filtered audio output.
- In— Audio input to the filter.
- Resonance— Boosts frequencies around the cutoff; at high settings the filter self-oscillates.
- Drive— Controls input level into the filter; higher settings saturate the filter and add harmonics.
- CV1— Attenuates the CV1 cutoff-modulation input; it is an attenuator, not an attenuverter.
- Cutoff CV2 Input— Control-voltage input for cutoff modulation, scaled by the CV2 attenuator.
- High Pass Indicator— Lights to indicate that high-pass mode is active.
- CV2— Attenuates the CV2 cutoff-modulation input; it is an attenuator, not an attenuverter.
- Cutoff— Sets the frequency at which the filter begins attenuating.
- Cutoff CV1 Input— Control-voltage input for cutoff modulation, scaled by the CV1 attenuator.
- Mode— Switches the filter between low-pass and high-pass modes.
