WMD CHNL SRFR
Ride the waves, tame the frequencies, get gnarly with FX — a full stereo channel strip in 4HP.
4 HP Eurorack module
CHNL SRFR (Channel Surfer) packs a 3-band parametric EQ, HP/LP filter with drive, multi-FX (delay, chorus, flanger, reverb), and a sidechain ducker into a single 4HP slot. A three-position Mode switch (EQ / FILT / FX) re-tasks the three multi-function knobs and the LED ladder shows whatever value you're currently turning, so the panel reads only as much as you need right now. Hold Shift to double each control's parameter count — knobs that boost a band become frequency sweeps, the I/O button becomes an FX algorithm selector, and Preset becomes SAVE. All three DSP sections run continuously; the switch only changes which page of controls is live on the front. Use front jacks for standalone operation, or connect via rear ribbon-cable insert directly into a Performance Mixer MkII channel. 96 kHz / 24-bit DSP throughout.

Controls & Jacks (22)
- Mode LED — Color-coded mode indicator — matches the active section label color.
- FX LED — Color-coded FX/shift indicator.
- I/O — Bypass / signal pass-through. Shift = FX SEL (cycle effect algorithm).
- Shift — Hold to access the alternate function on any knob or button.
- Preset — Recalls one of 9 presets. Shift = SAVE to current slot.
- Mode — EQ / FILT / FX — chooses which section the three knobs control.
- Knob 1 — Multi-function: HIGH band level (EQ) / LPF cutoff (FILT) / FX Amount (FX). Shift = HIGH FREQ / LPF Res / FX2 select.
- Knob 2 — Multi-function: MID band level (EQ) / HPF cutoff (FILT) / FX1 select (FX). Shift = MID FREQ / HPF Res / FX3 select.
- Knob 3 — Multi-function: LOW band level (EQ) / DRIVE (FILT) / DUCK amount (FX). Shift = LOW FREQ / BOOST / DUCK Release / FX Preset Select.
- Duck In — Dedicated sidechain input for the ducker section.
- CV In — Assignable CV input — press CV ASSIGN, then turn a knob to assign destination.
- In L — Left audio input. Use alone for mono or with In R for stereo.
- In R — Right audio input.
- Out L — Processed left audio output after EQ → filter → FX → ducker.
- Out R — Processed right audio output.
- VU LED 1 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator — top segment.
- VU LED 2 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator.
- VU LED 3 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator.
- VU LED 4 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator — middle segment.
- VU LED 5 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator.
- VU LED 6 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator.
- VU LED 7 — Right-edge VU meter / live value indicator — bottom segment.
