WMD Skorpion
Hybrid waveform processor with 8-threshold vector core and macro envelope
20 HP Eurorack module
The WMD Skorpion Waveform Reanimator is an advanced hybrid analog/digital waveform processor. Signal enters the IN jack and is analyzed by 8 comparators set by the threshold sliders. A vector core with adjustable SLOPE generates waveforms toward TARGET voltages, reversing direction at each threshold crossing. FOLD amplifies the input against the comparator stack, SHIFT creates asymmetry, and SHAPE modulates the slope with different feedback sources. The OUTPUT stereoization section provides a mid/side matrix with switchable delay and filtering. An internal macro envelope system controls 8 non-synchronizing LFOs that modulate fold, slope, shift, shape, and the thresholds/targets.
