XAOC Devices Lublin
Dual pingable voltage-controlled amplifier
6 HP Eurorack module
Lublin is a dual, DC-coupled exponential VCA. Its ping inputs generate vactrol-like gain envelopes for plucked and struck-style dynamics.
Features
- Two independent, DC-coupled VCA channels.
- Gain limiting helps prevent distortion from excessive amplification.
- Three selectable ping-response variants.
- Per-channel multicolor peak level indication.
Controls & Jacks (14)
- EXP A— Positive exponential CV input for Channel A.
- PING A— Gate or trigger input that starts Channel A's internal ping envelope.
- Volume A— Sets Channel A attenuation without external control, or scales its EXP A CV; with pinging and no external CV, it adjusts the audible decay-t
- OUT A— Processed DC-coupled output from Channel A.
- EXP B— Positive exponential CV input for Channel B.
- Volume B— Sets Channel B attenuation without external control, or scales its EXP B CV; with pinging and no external CV, it adjusts the audible decay-t
- OUT B— Processed DC-coupled output from Channel B.
- PING B— Gate or trigger input that starts Channel B's internal ping envelope.
- IN B— DC-coupled signal input for Channel B; accepts modular-level audio or CV.
- IN A— DC-coupled signal input for Channel A; accepts modular-level audio or CV.
- Response A— Three-position selector for Channel A's ping-envelope profile: natural, shortened, or prolonged.
- Signal Level A— Independent multicolor peak-program level indicator for Channel A output: green up to normal level, yellow above 10 Vpp, and red above 16 Vp
- Signal Level B— Independent multicolor peak-program level indicator for Channel B output: green up to normal level, yellow above 10 Vpp, and red above 16 Vp
- Response B— Three-position selector for Channel B's ping-envelope profile: natural, shortened, or prolonged.
How-To Guides
- Make a pinged bass drum
- Generate ping-shaped CV
