Oradea is a quadruple voltage-controlled analog resonator from Xaoc Devices. It consists of four parallel narrow bandpass filters operating on a shared audio input, each with its own center frequency, resonance (Q), VCA, polarity switch and level indicator. Unlike typical Eurorack filters that self-oscillate at Q ≈ 30–50, Oradea's custom topology reaches Q ≈ 300 with active gain compensation — the peak gain does not balloon as resonance rises, so you can sit at extreme narrowness without runaway distortion. Dedicated excite inputs ping each filter with a uniform impulse for consistent strike amplitude, and every channel's frequency is V/oct-calibrated, so Oradea can track an oscillator pitch or model the fixed formants of an acoustic body. Outputs are individual (per channel, post-VCA) plus a soft-saturated Sum Out.
