Samarkanda is Xaoc Devices' performance-oriented quad delay station. Each of its four identical channels is a 0.5 ms – 15 s resampling delay that can run continuously, synced to an external clock, or tap-tempo'd. Channels can be cleanly stacked, linked into masters/slaves, or cross-patched for ping-pong, FDN reverbs, granular textures, and tuned resonators. Each channel switches per-buffer between Analog (BBD/tape-like, pitches with time changes) and Digital (granular crossfade, no pitch shift) behaviours, with Reverse, Hold, and 1V/oct CV control of delay time.
