XAOC Devices Ustka
Per-channel direct VCA outputs for the Ostrawa stereo mixer
4 HP Eurorack module
Ustka is a 4 HP passive breakout expander for the Ostrawa stereo mixer. It taps the direct, post-VCA signal of all four stereo channels before they are summed into Ostrawa's main mix, presenting them as four pairs of left and right outputs. Each tap carries the volume, panning, and muting applied to that channel on Ostrawa, so you can route individual stems to an audio interface or multitrack recorder while the full mix keeps running at Ostrawa's own outputs.
Features
- Passive 4 HP breakout expander for the XAOC Devices Ostrawa stereo mixer
- Four pairs of direct, per-channel VCA outputs (eight mono jacks total)
- Taps each stereo channel post-VCA, ahead of Ostrawa's main summing bus
- Outputs carry channel volume, balance, and mute exactly as set on Ostrawa
- Auxiliary send effects are excluded, keeping the taps free of parallel processing
- Ideal for multitrack recording of stems before they are mixed down
- Interfaces Ostrawa with audio interfaces, DAWs, and hardware multitrack recorders
- Standard Eurorack mono 3.5mm TS jacks, single-ended (unbalanced)
- Per-output level jumpers select +20 dBu Eurorack level or +4 dBu line level
- Level is set individually for each of the eight outputs, not per pair
- Optional 16 dB attenuation eases connection to line-level soundcard inputs
- Output impedance 1 kOhm at +20 dBu, 33 kOhm at +4 dBu
