Flippybits ("we", "us") operates BleepDex. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, and the choices available to you. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What We Collect

Analytics

We use limited analytics to understand whether BleepDex is useful and reliable. Analytics may include a randomly generated browser or session identifier, sanitized page paths, module and control interactions, coarse browser or device information, performance information, allowlisted campaign labels, and interactions with official-partner links.

We do not include raw search terms, arbitrary URL query strings, complete referrer URLs, OAuth parameters, rack URLs or contents, module-request text, private note text, payment information, or authentication tokens in product-analytics events. Automatic page-element tracking and session replay are disabled.

What We Don't Use Analytics For

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We do not use advertising identifiers or build advertising profiles.

Analytics Choices

Analytics are enabled by default where permitted. A first-visit notice lets you continue or opt out, and Global Privacy Control is treated as an opt-out. You can change this device's choice at any time through Analytics preferences. Opting out does not reduce site functionality.

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage for authentication state, cached application data, saved preferences, and your analytics choice. When you are logged in, favorites and saved control notes sync to your account. Unfinished note drafts are kept in account-scoped sessionStorage for the current tab and cleared when you sign out. Notes are private to your account and are not included in public module content or partner reports.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your credit card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs payment data.

Limited records from earlier subscriptions may be retained only for accounting, disputes, and legal obligations, and are deleted when those purposes no longer require them.

Data Hosting

Your data is stored on:

• Supabase (PostgreSQL) — account, favorites, and private note data, hosted in the US
• Railway — application hosting, US region
• PostHog — limited product analytics

Official Partners

We may provide aggregate or deidentified usage, referral, and partnership-performance information to select official BleepDex partners operating under written agreements. This may include counts and trends such as visits, useful sessions, and outbound interactions. Partner reports do not include account-level browsing histories or user-level paths.

Data Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove associated account data within 30 days. Raw product-analytics events are retained for no more than 13 months; aggregate or genuinely deidentified statistics may be retained longer. To request account deletion, email support@bleepdex.com.

Your Rights

You can:

• Export your data (email us)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of any future marketing emails (we don't currently send any)
• Opt out of product analytics on this device without losing site functionality

Children

BleepDex is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify registered users of significant changes by email.
